CELEBRITY TOP 10: BTS To Stage ‘Permission To Dance’ Concert In Seoul; New Star Trek, Baby Shark Movies In The Works

Top 10: Simone Biles is now engaged
Olympian and gymnast Simone Biles has said yes to the wedding proposal of her boyfriend Jonathan Owens.
The 24-year old sports celebrity and four-time Olympic gold medalist tweeted that she can’t wait to spend forever with Jonathan, and that he’s everything she dreamed of.
Jonathan plays for Houston, Texas in the National Football League. Simone also grew up in Houston, that’s why Jonathan also chose for the two of them to get engaged in Houston.
The two have been dating since 2020.
Top 9: New ‘Star Trek’ movie in the works
Paramount announced that another “Star Trek” movie is now in the works.
The film studio hopes to get the original cast members, including Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldaña and John Cho.
“Wanda Vision” director Matt Shakman will take the helm of the next “Star Trek” movie.
At the moment, no further details have been announced about the project.
Top 8: Kanye West apologizes for Instagram behavior
Kanye West said sorry for sharing private conversations with ex-wife Kim Kardashian on Instagram.
Netizens have called out Kanye for sharing the exchange of communications between him and Kim, saying it’s harassment. The rapper has now deleted those posts, apologized, and acknowledged that he has indeed been foul for doing that.
Kim is currently in a relationship with comedian Pete Davidson.
Kanye on the other hand just split with Julia Fox after almost two months, then sent flowers to Kim for Valentine’s.
Top 7: ‘A Quiet Place 3’ debuts in 2025
Paramount is working on the third installment of “A Quiet Place.”
The announcement was made during their investor day presentation.
No other details have been disclosed yet, but fans are already on the lookout for what the involvement of John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonda and Noah Jupe will be.
“A Quiet Place” has been a success both critically and commercially. Its sequel, which opened last year, grossed nearly $300 million globally.
Top 6: ‘Baby Shark’ movie in the works
The hit and catchy kiddie song “Baby Shark” is set to become a movie.
“Baby Shark” has actually been seen in cinemas before and had Netflix run but this time, Paramount said that the upcoming project would be a feature-length film.
Paramount announced that the film will be produced by Nickelodeon animation and creator the Pinkfong company.
“Baby Shark” got the record on YouTube with 10 billion views.
The movie project is set for release in 2023.
Top 5: Coachella drops vaccination requirements
Coachella and its sister festival Stagecoach have announced that they are no longer requiring vaccination and wearing of face masks for concertgoers.
Moreover, they will not require other COVID-19 safety requirements including testing.
The two festivals are held outdoors. They are two of the largest music festivals in California.
Stagecoach is an annual country music festival in Indio, California just like Coachella.
Top 4: HBO original drama series ‘Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty’ to debut on HBO and HBO Go
Filipino basketball fans can look forward to “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty,” a new 10-episode HBO original sports drama series from award-winning filmmaker Adam McKay.
It is a fast-break series about the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties – a team that defined an era, both on and off the court.
“Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” is based on the book “Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley and The Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s” written by Jeff Pearlman.
It will be streamed in March on HBO and HBO Go or access HBO Go via Cignal.

This will be the group’s first concert in South Korea since the pandemic began.
It will be a three-day event at Seoul’s Olympic stadium on March 10, 12 and 13.
It will also be streamed live, according to BigHit music.
BTS played their first in-person concerts since the pandemic in Los Angeles last year where fans from all over the world flew in to watch it.
