Jinkee And Manny Pacquiao’s Charmed Life Is No Accident
Luck had little to do with what the famous family is enjoying now.

For regular people like us, browsing through Jinkee Pacquiao's Instagram photos is like escaping to a different world -- vacations here and abroad, expansive and beautiful homes, and all the finer things in life.
The Pacquiaos’ list of properties is astounding, to say the least: several mansions in their hometown of General Santos City, a 1,500-square-meter prime estate in Forbes Park, Makati, a beachfront property in Sarangani, and an acquisition in Los Angeles, California. Not a few followers have expressed admiration for Jinkee's charmed life, gushing about how lucky she is to have all these blessings.
But, if you really think about it, luck had little to do with what Jinkee and her family are enjoying now.
Her husband Manny's success -- from his humble beginnings as an aspiring boxer in General Santos City, to winning 12 major world titles in boxing -- was their ticket to living the good life.
This year, the sports icon celebrates the 26th anniversary of his boxing career. Manny marked this milestone with an Instagram post that chronicles his journey, which began after he left home at 16 years old and boarded a ship bound for Manila.
"26 years. 62 wins. 39 KOs. 12 major world titles.
“I had to punch my way to victory every time. Before that, I had to train," he captioned the slideshow.
Although it's difficult to see her husband beaten up in court, Jinkee makes sure she is always present in each of Manny's fights as a show of love and support. Her prayers for Manny's safety keep the boxing champ going.
Meanwhile, Manny ascribes his wins to discipline and constant training, which helps him hone his agility.
“My secret is speed - in my punches and pain recovery," he says.
He also acknowledges the contributions of those who believe in him for the important role they play in his success.
"Most of all, it’s my family and friends, my fans, my coach and team, and my partner Ibuprofen + Paracetamol (Alaxan FR), kasama ko sa laban since 1995,” he adds.
Is the good life they are living now part of their destiny or a mere stroke of luck? A little of both, maybe. But without Jinkee and Manny's persevering attitude and their firm foundation in their faith, we all know the PacMan wouldn't be who he is today.
