Chris Hemsworth Coming To Phl For Netflix’s Extraction 2 Premiere

Actor Chris Hemsworth, who returns as Tyler Rake in Extraction 2, is coming to Manila on June 5 for the Asia Pacific red carpet premiere of the highly anticipated action and adventure sequel, Netflix bared on Thursday, May 18.

In a video, Hemsworth teased fans about his visit. “I’ll be flying to Manila this June for the premiere of Extraction 2 where I play Tyler Rake. I don’t want you to miss out so please come join me. It’ll be fun.” T

The blockbuster actor shared his excitement, adding, “Can’t wait to see you all there soon. Take care.”

After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.

Hemsworth reunites with director Sam Hargrave in the movie written by Joe Russo, who produced it with his brother, Anthony of AGBO, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, Hemsworth, Newall and Hargrave. Jake Aust, Benjamin Grayson, Steven Scavelli, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are executive producers.

Golshifteh Farahani reprises her role from the first film, with Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili also co-starring.

This is a sequel to the first film that was based on the graphic novel “Ciudad” by Ande Parks, with illustrations by Fernando León González.

Extraction 2 premieres on June 16, only on Netflix.
