WATCH: Marcoleta May Have Received More Than P75 Million – Lacson
Sen. Panfilo Lacson disclosed that investigators are reviewing infrastructure projects allegedly linked to Sen. Rodante Marcoleta from his time in the House of Representatives, including around P500 million worth of so-called “allocables.”

Sen. Panfilo Lacson said on Tuesday, June 30, they are verifying information that Sen. Rodante Marcoleta received more than P75 million.
In an interview with One News’ “Storycon,” Lacson disclosed that investigators are reviewing infrastructure projects allegedly linked to Marcoleta from his time in the House of Representatives, including around P500 million worth of so-called “allocables.”
He said they are examining which projects may have irregularities and are validating the information gathered so far.
According to Lacson, investigators have already identified several projects for verification as part of the ongoing probe.
He added that the allegations include claims that the allocations were connected to the appointment of former Public Works Manuel Bonoan to the Cabinet in 2022.
Although, the senator said the investigation remains a work in progress and no findings have been finalized.
The Office of the Ombudsman earlier said they will file plunder charges against Marcoleta over the P75-million campaign donations he received during the 2025 elections.
Lacson also pushed back on the claim that the case against Marcoleta is an example of selective justice.
Lacson said the case was based on information and statements coming from Marcoleta himself, not simply a move targeting him.
