Dissatisfaction With Marcos Gov’t Surges To 46%; Satisfaction Down To 32% – SWS
The Marcos administration received poor net satisfaction ratings in terms of eradicating graft and corruption, ensuring that oil companies do not take advantage of rising oil prices and fighting inflation.

Only one in every three Filipinos is satisfied with the performance of the Marcos administration, according to the results of the first quarter survey conducted by Social Weather Stations (SWS).
Results of the March 24 to 31 survey released on Friday showed only 32 percent were satisfied with the general performance of the government.
It fell from 46 percent obtained in a similar survey in November 2025.
Dissatisfaction, meanwhile, increased from 32 percent to 46 percent, while undecided respondents remained at 21 percent.
The latest survey yielded a net satisfaction of “poor” -13, down from the “moderate” +14 in November 2025.
The net satisfaction rating is the rounded off difference between those who said they were satisfied from those who were dissatisfied with the performance of the national government.
Based on the latest results, satisfaction with the government was highest among those in balance Luzon, which includes the bailiwick of the Marcos family (39 percent satisfied, 39 percent dissatisfied).
It was followed by those in Metro Manila (29 percent satisfied, 52 percent dissatisfied), the Visayas (28 percent satisfied, 51 percent dissatisfied) and Mindanao (25 percent satisfied, 52 percent dissatisfied).
Specific issues
Among specific issues, net satisfaction with the Marcos government was highest in terms of improving the quality of education (+52), followed by helping the poor (+45), implementing housing programs for the poor (+45), creating policies that generate jobs (+42), developing science and technology (+40) and ensuring food security (+32).
The Marcos administration obtained “moderate” ratings in terms of defending Philippine sovereignty (+27), providing information needed by Filipinos (+26), telling the truth (+24), ensuring an efficient public transportation system (+24), taking care of Filipinos in Middle East danger zones (+21) and ensuring that no family will be hungry (+12).
It obtained “neutral” net satisfaction on issues such as prosecuting tax evaders (zero), collecting taxes (-4), addressing the rising oil prices (-5) and fighting crimes that victimize ordinary citizens (-7).
The Marcos administration received high dissatisfaction rates and poor net satisfaction ratings in terms of eradicating graft and corruption (-10), ensuring that oil companies do not take advantage of rising oil prices (-12) and fighting inflation (-15).
The survey had 1,500 respondents and a margin of error of plus/minus three percent for national percentages.
