Top 10: Ai-Ai Delas Alas condemns Quezon City persona non grata resolution

Let's first talk about the personae non gratae issue against Ai-Ai delas Alas and Darryl Yap in Quezon City.

Ai-Ai’s lawyer has issued a statement saying they condemn the city council resolution.

She called it as an affront against artists like her who use satire to get their messages across.

Prior to this, Darryl has already commented by sharing the interview Councilor Ivy Lagman over “One Balita Pilipinas” on One PH and said he would like to treat the councilor to a parlor.

In the One PH interview, Lagman clarified that the personae non gratae declaration against Delas Alas was just a symbolism and an expression of their disgust against what the two personalities did to the city seal.

But it wouldn’t press against their rights to transact or enter the city.

Top 9: Todd Phillips reveals working title for ‘Joker’ sequel

Todd Phillips, the director of “Joker,” revealed that he has completed the script for the sequel of the award-winning film.

Todd shared a photo of the cover page of the script which has a title “Joker: Folie  Deux.”

It’s in reference to a medical term for mental disorder affecting two or more individuals.

“Joker” was a success both critically and commercially. Joaquin Phoenix won an Oscar for best actor in 2020. The movie earned $1.07 billion globally.

Release date is yet to be announced. Other details about the film are still under wraps.

Top 8: Brad Pitt accuses Angelina Jolie of seeking to “inflict harm” with vineyard sale

Brad Pitt said his ex-wife Angelina Jolie “sought to inflict harm” on him when she sold her stake in their previously co-owned wine company to a Russian oligarch.

The former couple bought a vineyard that they called Château Miraval in the south of France in 2008. They later got married in the place in 2014 and spent family events there.

Brad claimed in a lawsuit that he and the actress had an agreement that neither of them would sell the vineyard without each other’s approval.

Based on reports, Brad said the sale helped launch a “hostile” takeover of the wine business that the actor had “carefully built.”

Angelina is yet to comment on the accusations of Brad.

Kristen Stewart is hunting specifically for gay ghost hunters for her upcoming paranormal reality series.

The actress is teaming up with Scout Productions, producers of some LGBTQIA+ shows like “Queer Eye,” “Legendary” and “The Hype.”

Kristen who is an out LGBTQIA+ member first revealed that she was working on this kind of reality series for queers in an interview with The New Yorker last year.

Top 6: Netflix releases first trailer of ‘Locke and Key’ Season 3

Netflix has released the first trailer for the third and last season of “Locke and Key.”

The latest season of the fantasy horror series shows the past of the Locke children as well as their powers and threat to the family.

It stars Connor Jessup, Darby Stanchfield and Emilia Jones among others.

Season 3 will be released in August on Netflix. 

Top 5: BTS and YouTube unveil #MyBTSStory challenge

BTS announced the #MyBTSStory challenge in partnership with YouTube. 

The hit Korean group invited their ARMYs to participate in the challenge.

The BTS asked their fans to share their memories from the time the group started using the hashtag #MyBTSStory.

BTS will be releasing an ARMY tribute video featuring a selection of shorts created during the challenge.

#MyBTSStory challenge will run from June 10 to July 9 on YouTube shorts.

Top 2: Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans join forces in ‘The Gray Man’

Two heartthrobs are coming together in one action-packed film.

Ryan Gosling plays a CIA mercenary and Chris Evans is his psychopathic adversary in the Netflix/AGBO-produced thriller directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. It also stars Ana de Armas, with Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Wagner Moura and Alfre Woodard.

Based on the novel “The Gray Man” by Mark Greaney, the screenplay is by Joe Russo, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. 

“The Gray Man” is coming this July in select theaters and on Netflix.
