Unblended Smoothie or Nature’s Cereal

@lizzo

ITS ADDICTING

? original sound - lizzo

This food innovation is a brainchild of chart-topping singer Lizzo, when she shared on TikTok how “addicting” it is to eat “Nature’s Cereal” for breakfast. Filipino Youtuber Bretman Rock also posted a video trying the recipe out, and it made people even more curious about it.

It’s actually very simple to make, and you can do this at home too. Just mix berries – the amount of what you would usually put in a bowl of smoothie -- with coconut water and ice. It is called an “Unblended Smoothie” because you are using smoothie ingredients without a blender. It’s really just eating fresh fruits with some milk and ice.

Edible Cookie Dough

Yup, you heard that right! Edible cookie dough is now a thing.

When we were kids, our parents would often tell us not to taste raw cookie dough because of the risk of salmonella, but these edible ones by Grizzly Dough are safe because they do not contain any eggs!

This online shop only uses heat-treated flour, which reduces the risk of foodborne pathogens or bacteria. They come in a 200g pint and are available in 8 flavors: Grizzly Classic, A Cub Is Born (birthday cake-inspired), Pawfee (coffee-inspired), Chocnut Claw (made from Chocnut), Banana Furon (inspired by the famous Filipino merienda, turon), Bubblebear (bubblegum flavor), Panda Crunch (cookies and cream), and Cinnadough (cinnamon roll flavor). They can be purchased from Php 145 to Php 185 each, depending on the variant.
