Whoopi Goldberg has been suspended from her show “The View.” 

 

According to ABC News, they are suspending Whoopi for two weeks for her wrong and hurtful comments.

 

As we’ve reported before, Whoopi received backlash after her controversial comments about Holocaust wherein she said that it was not about the race and it was simply man’s inhumanity to man.

 

Netizens and advocate groups were quick to slam Whoopi, saying it had been Hitler and the Nazis considering the Jews as the inferior race.

 

Whoopi already apologized for what she has said.

 

Top 9: Lady A country group and blues singer drops case over shared name

 

No more fight between Lady A and Lady A.

 

We’re talking about the country band Lady A and blues singer Lady A.

 

Both Lady As settled their legal battle over their shared name. They already filed joint requests for the dismissal of their lawsuits.

 

Details of the settlement, though, are not made public yet.

 

If you remember, the band dropped Antebellum from their name because the term was associated with a period in civil war including slavery.

 

But Anita White has been using the screen name Lady A for nearly 30 years. 

 

Top 8: Taraji P. Henson joins cast of ‘The Color Purple’ musical 

 

Taraji P. Henson is the newest addition to the cast of  “The Color Purple.”

 

She will be joining Corey Hawkins and H.E.R in a musical movie directed by Blitz Bazawule.

 

This is a fresh take on the adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of Alice Walker. The 1985 film was directed by Steven Spielberg.

 

Filming and other details are yet to be announced.

Her character named Sofia is John Wick's ally.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to play cult leader Jim Jones in psychological thriller “White Night.”

 

Jim Jones was a charismatic leader who had a large following. In 1974, he established Jonestown in Guyana. Then four years later, he commanded his followers to drink poison. It was one of the largest mass-murder suicides on record where more than 900 people died.

 

Chloe Grace Moretz will be joining Joseph as Deborah Layton, the survivor of Jonestown.

 

Filming will start this spring. Release date is yet to be announced.

The newly-released video featuring her is making buzz online due to her ultimate “hugot” lines that capture the hearts of the viewers and voters.

 

In the video titled, “Naloko ka na ba ng pagmamahal sa maling tao?” produced by the group Young Public Servants, Angelica urged the voters to scrutinize the candidates very carefully and avoid supporting liars and thieves.

 

Top 2: KBP’s presidential forum to air on Cignal

 

Preparations for the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas’ presidential forum are now in full blast.

 

Technical rehearsal was conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 2. The staff and other people behind the event showed how they are going to deliver the much-awaited forum.

 

This will be the first time that the presidential aspirants will be in one venue to discuss their platforms. They will also be questioned by respected journalists.

 

The forum will be moderated by Rico Hizon and Karen Davila. Panelists include Ed Lingao, Roby Alampay, Elmer Acol and Dan Andre Cua.
