2 ‘New Year Babies’ Born In Manila

Two “New Year babies” were born at the Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in Manila as the country welcomed the new year.

Sally Alburo, 25, of Carmona, Cavite, gave birth to a baby boy named Yuri at 12 a.m. on Jan. 1.

After 10 seconds, another baby was born – a girl named Zamara. The first-time mother, Jennilyn Dalen, 21, is from Naic, Cavite.

According to the doctor at Fabella Hospital, both babies were born through normal deliveries.

Alburo and Dalen wished for their newborns to grow up happy and healthy.

The child deliveries marked the hospital’s first recorded births of 2026.
