Liza Marcos Posts Photo With Imelda
The post came days after rumors that the 93-year-old former first lady Imelda Marcos has died circulated online.
First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos posted on social media on Sunday, March 26, a photo with her mother-in-law, Imelda Marcos.
The photo, posted on Araneta-Marcos’ Facebook account, was accompanied with the caption, “Happy Sunday everyone!”
It came days after rumors that the 93-year-old former first lady has died circulated online.
Also joining the photo was Tingog party-list Rep. Yedda Romualdez, wife of Speaker Martin Romualdez, a nephew of Imelda.
In a post on Facebook on Thursday, March 23, Imelda’s niece, Eliza Romualdez-Valtos said Imelda is “still strong and kicking.”
Imelda’s daughter, Sen. Imee Marcos, likewise denied the rumors.
“That’s been going around since last week. Whoever started the rumor is bad,” she said partly in Filipino on Thursday.
