WATCH: Sara Duterte, Leni Robredo Friends?
#TheBigStory | Former vice president Leni Robredo’s former spokesperson, lawyer Barry Gutierrez questioned the claim of former senator Antonio Trillanes IV that Robredo and Vice President Sara Duterte are friends.
Gutierrez pointed out the Vice President repeatedly attacked Robredo during her term as vice president.
He denied claims of an alliance between Robredo and her successor, Duterte, during the 2022 elections. Gutierrez said that Robredo had only one running mate, Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
Gutierrez believes Trillanes is making allegations against Robredo to support his position that she should not run in the 2028 elections.
But Gutierrez Robredo is currently focused on her work as mayor of Naga City and has no plans for 2028.
