Top 10: New footage of ‘Eternals’ reveals more details
Marvel Studios has released a short new clip of “Eternals” which offered a sneak peek on the powers and lives of the superheroes.
The short clip shows the power of Gilgamesh played by Don Lee, Ikaris played by Richard Madden and Thena played by Angelina Jolie.
Marvel’s first openly gay superhero named Phastos was also highlighted.
“Eternals” is directed by Academy award-winning director Chloé Zhao. It will be released in November.
Top 9: New James Bond film smashes international box office
The latest James Bond film “No Time To Die” is smashing box office records internationally.
It is currently getting $119 million from 54 foreign markets.
The film, according to Universal Pictures, is a hot deal in China, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and Hong Kong.
It is expected to set more box office records as it opens in other international markets as well, like in Russia, France and North America.
“No Time To Die” is Daniel Craig’s final movie as James Bond.
One News earlier reported how Daniel got emotional when the movie first screened because he said this series of films made him into the fine actor he is now.
“No Time To Die” had its world premiere last week in London attended by Royal family members Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Top 8: Lil Wayne, Rich the Kid collaboration on ‘Trust Fund Babies’ mixtape
Grammy award-winning rapper Lil Wayne and rap artist Rich the Kid joined forces for a mixtape called “Trust Fund Babies.”
It has 10 tracks including “Feelin’ Like Tunechi” and “Shh.”
The mixtape follows the release of Lil’s “Tha Carter IV (Complete Edition)” on streaming platforms in celebration of the critically-acclaimed album’s 10th anniversary.
He also launched the specialty “Tha Carter IV Topps” trading card, thus making him the first rapper to have his own trading card collection.
Top 7: Netflix drops ‘tick, tick…BOOM’ trailer
Have you ever been curious what it had been like for the creator of “Rent” before he was able to come up with the hit musical?
Well, here’s a new Netflix film that will take a look on that!
The trailer of “tick, tick... BOOM” shows how it will feature the life of Jonathan Barson, the maker of “Rent.”
It stars Andrew Garfield as Jon, a young theater composer who is writing what hopes will be the next greatest American musical.
Andrew is joined by Alexandra Shipp, Joshua Henry, MJ Rodriguez, Bradley Whitford, Tariq Trotter, Judith Light and Vanessa Hudgens.
“tick, tick…BOOM” is directed by Lin Manuel-Miranda and will be shown in November.
Top 6: Disney Channel shuts down in Southeast Asia
Disney has decided to close down its channels in Southeast Asia including Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Fox Movies, Fox Action Movies, Fox Family Movies, Fox, Fox Life, Nat Geo People and others.
For fans asking what’s next after the shutdown of these channels, Disney said this is to give way to streaming device, Disney+.
It will be launched in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea at the moment. Unfortunately, there’s no announcement of launch yet in the Philippines and Vietnam.
We first heard of the news from Cignal TV, which has a Disney Channel. Cignal has offered additional channels following the shutdown.

Alex Diaz is part of an international project called “Glitter & Doom.” It is an LGBTQIA+ musical featuring songs from duo Indigo Girls.
The host/actor has been filming it in Mexico since last month.
Other cast members include Alan Cammish, Lea Delaria, Ming-Na Wen and Missi Pyle.
Alex came out as bisexual in 2019.
Top 3: American scientists win Medicine Nobel for work on heat and touch
Two American scientists David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian won the prestigious 2021 Nobel Prize for Medicine for the discovery of receptors in the skin that sense temperature and touch. This could pave the way for the development of new pain-killers.
Both scientists were shocked and a bit surprised for the recognition they have received.
Patapoutian, who was born to Armenian parents in Lebanon and then moved to Los Angeles, is a professor at Scripps Research in La Jolla, California. He has previously done research at the University of California, San Francisco, and California Institute of Technology, Pasadena.
Meanwhile, Julius is a professor at University of California, San Francisco. Earlier, he has worked at Columbia University, in New York.
The prestigious Nobel Prizes, for achievements in science, literature and peace, were created and funded by Swedish dynamite inventor and businessman Alfred Nobel.
Top 2: ‘Squid Game’ cast to appear on Jimmy Fallon’s show?
“Squid Game” is continuously gaining international popularity.
According to South Korean site Soompi, four cast members of the hit series will appear in “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
They are Lee Jung Jae, Park Hae Soo, Jung Ho Yeon and Wi Ha Joon.
Recording takes place via video chat.
The hit Netflix series started its premiere last month.
Top 1: Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp down for more than six hours
Facebook Inc. blamed a “faulty configuration change” for a nearly six-hour outage on Monday that prevented the company’s 3.5 billion users from accessing its social media and messaging services such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
The Facebook outage is the largest ever tracked by web monitoring group Downdetector.
