Top 10: Johnny Depp, Amber Heard breakup in Discovery documentary

A documentary is in the works featuring the turn of events in the divorce between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard!

“Johnny vs. Amber” will take the audience to how the split happened and the legal battles that ended their marriage.

Stories will be told in support of tapes, home videos, text messages shown in court. 

Johnny and Amber’s divorce battle has been the subject of a lot of buzz online since Amber filed it in 2016. Issues on domestic violence made the fans go wild while they publicly witness the legal battle.

The two-part documentary will be streamed on Discovery+ soon.

Top 9: Jesse Eisenberg to star in FX on Hulu limited series

Jesse Eisenberg has been chosen to play as Toby Fleishman in a limited series in FX on Hulu.

“Fleishman is in Trouble” is based on a best-selling novel which is about Toby Fleishman who just separated from the love of his life. Then, he went into this whole new world of app-based dating.

He will be joined by Lizzy Caplan who will play as Libby, Toby’s friend and the show’s narrator.

Jesse is known for movies like “The Social Network” and “Zombieland.”

Top 8: First Black woman in International Space Station crew

NASA astronaut Jessica Watkins will make history as the first Black woman on the International Space Station (ISS) crew.

Jessica will live and work in space on the mission on an orbiting outpost. She will fly along with other astronauts from the NASA and the European Space Agency.

Jessica is a geologist who got her undergraduate degree at the Stanford University and a doctorate from the University of California.

She will serve as a mission specialist during the Crew-4 flight.

Top 7: Salma Hayek gets star in Hollywood Walk of Fame

Salma Hayek becomes the 2,709th celebrity to finally receive a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In her speech, the “House of Gucci” star encouraged everyone to try to be better and try to find joy in everything they do.

Salma, who also stars in “Eternals,” recalled the struggles in her early career wherein she almost got stabbed because of discrimination, as well as her experiences with racism.

Top 6: Adele reunites with her former teacher

Adele was in tears when she was reunited with her former teacher during her ITV concert special “An Audience with Adele.”

Her teacher, Miss McDonald suddenly appeared when Emma Thompson asked Adele about someone who supported and inspired her when she was younger.

Adele hugged Miss McDonald and showed how special she was. She thanked her for all the good things she has done to her.

 

Top 5: Spotify removes default shuffle button for albums

Adele has a special request and Spotify granted it.

The music streaming platform removed its default shuffle button from albums.

Adele expressed her gratitude to Spotify and said artists don’t create albums with so much care and thought into their tracklisting for no reason. Their art tells a story and their stories should be listened to as they intended.

Users who wished to shuffle album can still select it through shuffle toggle, according to Spotify.

 

Top 4: Miss Belize shares thoughts after winning Miss Earth 2021

It was destiny, indeed, for Miss Belize Destiny Wagner.

She bested 88 candidates for the Miss Earth crown last weekend. 

It’s a historic win for her country as she’s the first Belizean Miss Earth winner and international titleholder!

Destiny expressed her gratitude after being crowned and making history.

Her elemental queens are Miss Earth Air Marisa Butler from the United States, Miss Earth Water Romina Denecken from Chile and Miss Earth Fire Baitong Jareerat Petsom from Thailand.

Top 2: PETA’s ‘Under My Skin’ streams Nov. 26

The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) is set to stream another play to cap 2021!

In commemoration of World AIDS Day, PETA will stream the revamped version of Rody Vera’s provocative, relevant, and heart-wrenching anthology drama on HIV titled “Under My Skin,” directed by Melvin Lee, from the stage to the screen.

“Under My Skin” was PETA’s last live performance at the PETA Theater Center before the lockdown in 2020 happened – just two weeks shy of the show’s closing.

The play is inspired by real people and events, and depicts the realities, triumphs, and struggles of people living with HIV, while navigating an important conversation about acceptance and tolerance.

It will be streamed this Nov. 26 to 28, and Nov. 30 to Dec. 5, 2021. Tickets are still available at P180 for livestream, and P250 for video on demand tickets via www.ticket2me.net.
