Top 10: ‘Spider-Man’ director doing ‘Final Destination’
Fresh from the success of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” director Jon Watts is already doing his newest project: a “Final Destination” movie!
His wife Dianne McGunigle joins Craig Perry and Sheila Hanahan Taylor as producers.
“Final Destination” is one of the hit franchise movies that tells about a group of youth who escaped death until they find themselves getting into certain situations.
Back then, it had five installments that were released from 2000 to 2011.
The upcoming “Final Destination” is set to be released on HBO Max soon.
Top 9: Kate Middleton celebrates birthday with new portraits
Would you believe she’s already 40?
Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton celebrated her 40th birthday last weekend.
In line with that, three new portraits of Kate were released to the public.
The community will have the opportunity to see the portraits as these will be shown in three places that were meaningful to her. These are Berkshire, St. Andrew’s and Anglesey. It's going to be part of the national portrait nationwide “Coming Home” exhibition.
Top 8: Gal Gadot stars in “To Catch A Thief” remake
Gal Gadot is set to star in the remake of the hit thriller “To Catch A Thief.” This news was revealed by Deadline.
She will also be producing it with her partner Jaron Versano as well as with Neil Moritz.
“To Catch A Thief” was first released in 1955 under the direction of Alfred Hitchcock. It starred Cary Grant who played the role of a former thief who was able to prove his innocence after being suspected of returning to his former act.
Details about the story are yet to be announced.
Top 7: Netflix to release two ‘Red Notice’ sequels
You heard it right!
Netflix is doing not just one, but two sequels for “Red Notice” with Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.
It is now the most-watched movie of all time in the streaming platform, which is obviously the reason why follow-up projects are being developed.
Netflix hopes to commence the production in early 2023. Rawson Marshall Thurber will return as its director, according Deadline.
Though it earned negative reviews, “Red Notice” earned 328.8 million viewing hours, beating the 2018 thriller “Bird Box” starring Sandra Bullock with 282 million.
Netflix is yet to comment on the negative comments.
Top 6: SAG awards releases list of nominees
That’s the reaction of most of the netizens after the nominees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced.
Nominees for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture are “Belfast,” “Coda,” “Don’t Look Up,” “House Of Gucci” and “King Richard.”
“Squid Game” was nominated for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series, and most of its lead stars got their respective nominations too.
Some expected nominees made it to the list as well but the biggest snub in the SAG Awards is Kristen Stewart of “Spencer,” who was not nominated in outstanding performance by a female actor.
Fans and netizens were shocked not to see Kristen’s name in the list where Nicole Kidman, Olivia Colman, Jessica Chastain, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Hudson were included.
SAG Awards will be on Feb. 27 at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall.
Top 5: Nadine Lustre introduces boyfriend on Instagram
Nadine Lustre and Christophe Bariou are now Instagram-official.
This is the first time that Nadine posted a photo with him on social media.
Christophe is a Filipino-French businessman who works in Siargao.
Rumors between the two sparked last year as they were seen together in a few events, but it’s the first time for Nadine to post about him.

Heaven Peralejo stars as a deeply conflicted vampire in the music video of Sponge Cola’s “Kung Ako Ang Pumiling Tapusin Ito,” the new single that they dropped ahead of their full-length album to be released this 2022.
The music video shows Heaven on the verge of a domestic breakdown as she adjusts to a life of uncertainty and fear from the sunlight.
The music video serves as an allegorical take on walking away from an unhealthy, toxic relationship and finding the courage to love oneself. Despite the several changes in terms of shoot dates, the production team headed by filmmaker Lamar Roque covered all the bases, and made sure that it went smoothly as planned.
“Kung Ako Ang Pumiling Tapusin Ito” is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide via Sony Music Philippines.

That’s how Kris Aquino describes her current health condition.
The TV host/actress posted a series of photos and a video showing her getting an IV insertion.
It is noticeable that she has lost more weight and is now only 40 kilograms.
Despite being sick, she said she was able to help Filipinos amid the continuing pandemic as she posted some of her donations.
Kris has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in late 2018.
She has also made headlines just a few days ago after her breakup with former fiancé Mel Sarmiento.
Top 2: Sue plays mistress Lexy in ‘The Broken Marriage Vow’
Sue Ramirez is unstoppable.
She will do everything to destroy a married man’s family… that is, as a seductive mistress in ABS-CBN’s upcoming drama series, “The Broken Marriage Vow.”
Sue plays Lexy Lucero, a wealthy yoga instructor, who is accustomed to getting her way. When she falls head over heels in love with David Ilustre who’s played by Zanjoe Marudo, she demands his time, attention, and constant reassurance at the expense of his wife Dra. Jill Ilustre and only son Gio, roles played by Jodi Sta. Maria and Zaijian Jaranilla, respectively.
In one of the scenes in the series, Lexy talks to David about their future together and sweet-talks him into breaking up with Jill so they can get married as soon as possible.
Even though she’s just the other woman, Lexy shows off her relationship with David, as if wanting the affair to be discovered.
“The Broken Marriage Vow” will air on Jan. 24 on TV5.
Top 1: Angel Locsin, Edu Manzano star in Pinoy adaptation of ‘Call My Agent’
The hit French series “Call My Agent” will have a Philippine remake to be led by Angel Locsin and Edu Manzano with Erik Matti as director and show runner.
Variety reported that the production will start in April or May. It will be an eight-part series for HBO Go.
“Call My Agent” is a comedy-drama about a talent agent firm and the lives of the people in it.
This will be Angel Locsin’s comeback in acting after her last TV series more than two years ago.
