Top 10: Prince Harry, wife Meghan Markle will not attend Princess Diana event
There will be no reunion for the royal family as Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, will not go to London for the event honoring Princess Diana.
That’s according to sources of entertainment sites in the United States.
The event will be hosted by Harry’s brother, Prince William in honor of their mother, Princess Diana. It is supposed to be done last July at the time of the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue at the Kensington Palace that Harry had attended.
Several “very important persons” or VIPs and closest family from the Spencers are expected to be in the event.
Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties which has caused their relationship with other royal family members to become strained.
Top 9: Jamie Lynn Spears’ memoir drops January
Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of Britney Spears, will release a memoir sharing her life as a child star, as well as her mental health and personal struggles.
She revealed that she was inspired to finish the book after an accident that happened to her daughter in 2017.
This memoir will be released in January.
Jamie Lynn announced her upcoming book amid the battle of Britney against her conservatorship wherein the court removed their father, Jamie Spears, as conservator. Next month, the final decision will be made as to whether or not the conservatorship will remain.
Top 8: Will Poulter joins ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’
Will Poulter is the newest addition to the Marvel family as he plays Adam Warlock in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.”
Will joins returning cast Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Karen Gillian, with James Gunn as writer and director.
Will is known for “The Revenant” and “The Maze Runner” as well as in “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” and limited series “Dopesick” on Hulu.
If you have watched “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” Adam Warlock was already teased in the post-credits.
His character’s powers include super-strength and regeneration, and is considered one of the most powerful Marvel characters.
The latest “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie is targeted to premiere in 2023.
Top 7: Anthony Hopkins joins ‘The Son’ cast
Anthony Hopkins is now part of “The Son,” the follow up movie to “The Father” where he won Best Actor at the Academy Awards.
Anthony joins the all-star cast which includes Hugh Jackman, Vanessa Kirby and Laura Dern along with Zen McGrath, under the direction of Florian Zeller.
The film is about husband and wife, played by Hugh Jackman and Vanessa Kirby, whose life changed when the ex-wife, played by Laura Dern, turns up with their son played by Zen McGrath.
The role of Anthony is yet to be revealed.
“The Son” will be released soon.
Top 6: Former ‘Superman’ slams DC Comics for bisexual successor
Dean Cain, former “Superman” actor, has something to say to DC Comics when they decided to make his successor a bisexual.
In an interview with “Fox and Friends,” Dean said it was merely joining a bandwagon. He even brought up how Robin is bisexual, Captain America is gay as well as Supergirl, where he portrayed as her father.
For Dean, it would be brave if DC tackles other issues like gay people in Iran, climate change, women empowerment, deportation of refugees and the likes.
Dean played Superman in “Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” for four series in 1993.
OneNews.PH reported on Tuesday, Oct. 12, that the new comic issue, wherein the new Superman came out as bisexual, will be released next month.
Creators and publishers said that this move is part of more LGBTQIA+ representation in their pages.
Top 5: Ariella Arida reacts on beauty queens joining party-list race
Hotter and bolder Ariella Arida will be seen in the new Vivamax movie, “Sarap Mong Patayin” along with Kit Thomson and comedian, Lassy.
Speaking to the press, Ariella shared her thoughts on beauty queens like her Miss Universe Philippines 2011 Shamcey Supsup and Michelle Gumabao joining the party-list race for congressional seats, as well as former Miss Asia Pacific International Sharifa Akeel-Mangudadatu running as governor in Sultan Kudarat.
Ariella, who was Miss Universe Philippines 2013, said she sees nothing wrong with beauty queens joining politics “as long as we know what we are doing.”
She added it would be good to help communities and the public in general, and for Shamcey to represent the fashion, entertainment and creative sectors in Congress.
Top 4: Miss Universe PH 2021 pays courtesy call on Philippine Navy chief
Newly-crowned Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez visited the chief of the Philippine Navy on Tuesday.
Beatrice met with Flag Officer In Command Vice Admiral Adeluis Bordado, who congratulated her for winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant.
The Navy chief lauded the active member of the Naval Reserve Center-Eastern Visayas for bringing honor to them and the Philippine Marine Corps.
Beatrice was also promoted to reservist rank of sergeant in her early visit at the Naval Reserve Command Headquarters.
She was also given a plaque of recognition and honored with a donning of rank ceremony for her contributions to the Philippine Navy Reserve Force.
Top 3: Paul McCartney blames John Lennon for The Beatles breakup
In a forthcoming episode of BBC Radio 4’s "This Cultural Life," Paul McCartney, 79, discusses what he called the most difficult period of his life, and that was the breakup of the sensational, The Beatles band.
Paul said the band would have continued if John Lennon had not walked away in 1970.
Paul claims after John announced he wanted to leave, the remaining members of the group were advised by their new manager, Allen Klein, to keep their impending disbandment a secret while they tied up loose ends.
This is basically to clarify rumors that it was Paul who instigated the split.
Now the question is, why did John walk away? We will have to wait for the release of the full interview of Paul on BBC which will be aired last week of October.

Top 1: ‘The Fabulous Filipino Brothers’ to be released locally
After two years, critically-acclaimed movie “The Fabulous Filipino Brothers” will finally be shown here in the Philippines.
The movie had its premiere last week at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival where it received high ratings from rotten tomatoes and good reviews from variety.
It’s a story of four Filipino siblings as they looked back on their decisions that shaped their lives.
Dante Basco, director of the movie, shared the excitement he felt on the released of this film. The movie is in partnership with Direk Dante and Cignal Entertainment.
“The Fabulous Filipino Brothers” will also be available via ktx.ph and Cignal pay-per-view from Oct. 18 to Nov. 15, and very soon on the Cignal Play app.
