Top 10: Kim Cattrall starring in Netflix’s ‘Glamorous’
“Sex and The City” star Kim Cattrall is set to do a drama series for Netflix about a makeup mogul titled “Glamorous.”
According to Variety, the series tells the story of Marco Mejia, a gender non-conforming queer person – played by YouTube star Miss Benny – who is trying to make it big in the beauty industry while figuring out what it really means to be queer, and who starts working for Madolyn Addison, played by Kim.
Glamorous will have 10 episodes and shooting will start in July in Toronto.
Release date will be announced.
Kim received five Emmy nominations for her role as Samantha jones in “Sex and The City.”
Top 9: Yerin to have a fan sign event in Manila
South Korean star Yerin will bring her “Aria” fan sign event to Manila.
The event will happen on July 22 at the New Frontier Theater.
Those who want to join the fan sign event must buy at least one set of “Aria” album at CDM Entertainment website.
Top six fan spenders will be given a chance to have a fan sign slot, a frontrow seat and a selfie with Yerin using their own phones. On the other hand, the top 12 spenders will have a fan sign slot too but the photo will be taken by the official photographer.
Yerin was part of the group GFriend in 2015. Recently, she made her debut album as a solo artist.
Top 8: Youngjae to hold a fan sign event in manila

GOT7 member Youngjae will also be heading to Manila for his first fan sign event on July 23 at the New Frontier Theater.
For GOT7 fans, this is your chance to see Youngjae in person.
To join, fans must buy at least two copies of his newest album on CDM Entertainment’s website.
Just like in Yerin, top spenders will have a chance to have a selfie with Youngjae using their own phones. Other top spenders will have a photo by the official photographer.
Youngjae is the lead vocalist of GOT7. Recently, they released a comeback EP, their first since 2021 for “Encore” single.
Top 7: Netflix teases ‘Squid Game’ Season 2
Netflix has released a teaser and a statement from the creator announcing the second season of “Squid Game.”
Hwang Dong-hyuk, the creator, director and writer thanked the fans for loving the show.
Major characters will be back for the second season including the frontman played by Lee Byung-hun and the protagonist played by Lee Jung-jae.
The animatronic doll will be back as well.
The release date is yet to be announced.
The first season of “Squid Game” is both a critical and commercial success. It has become Netflix’s biggest release and won several awards from different award-giving bodies.
Top 6: Jennifer Hudson reaches EGOT status
Jennifer Hudson has reached EGOT status after winning the Tony Awards for producing “A Strange Loop.”
Jennifer is the 17th person who got the EGOT status, which means winning four major awards in different fields: Emmy for television, Grammy for music, Oscar for film and Tony for theater.
The former “American Idol” contestant won an Oscar best supporting actress award for “Dreamgirls,” got two Grammys, and an Emmy for producing “Baby Yaga.”
She is now in the circle of EGOT winners including Whoopi Goldberg, Rita Moreno, Andrew Lloyd Webber, John Legend, Mike Nichols and many more.
Top 5: ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ to open in local cinemas

With Gru on the run, the minions attempt to master the art of kung fu to help save him, and Gru discovers that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.

Following the release of “Heaven,” multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Calum Scott announced his biggest headline Asia tour to date, the “Bridges.”
He will come back to Manila on Oct. 20 at the New Frontier Theatre to perform for his Filipino fans.
Top 3: Pilita Corrales joining Regine, Sharon’s ‘Iconic’ concert
Regine Velasquez and Sharon Cuneta were thrilled when they announced that Pilita corrales will be joining them in their “Iconic” concert this weekend at the Marriott Grand ballroom.

Angelica announced her pregnancy two months ago, leading her to take a break from showbiz to focus on her personal life.
